What is ABA?
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
A therapy that utilizes principles of learning and behavior modification to improve skills and decrease challenging behaviors in individuals, especially those with autism and other developmental disorders. It focuses on teaching new skills, like communication and social interaction, and reducing behaviors that interfere with daily life, such as tantrums or self-injurious acts.
